“Clergy cheating on wives to go on shame file with child abusers”, October 23. What an awkward headline. It sounds like particular clergy have or are cheating on their wives in order to secure a place on the shame file, when in fact the article is simply reporting a proposed change in the professional standards of the Anglican Church. While the shame remains with child abusers and adulterous clergy, the headlines could nonetheless be improved.
