So the left is the new right, the rich are the new poor, the biblically conservative are the new radicals, the judges are hypocrites and the priests are intolerant (“Admit your sins to the Lord, priest tells gay judge”, April 10). Without all the labelling that goes on these days, I wonder what a debate on the issues would be like?
