Heath Ledger wins Oscar for Best Supporting Actor

So the Oscars have come and gone, and surprise surprise Heath Ledger won the best supporting actor. Nothing against it, because I thought he was pretty good in The Dark Night, but I actually felt a bit sorry for the others in the category – what chance did they have up against “our Heath”, what chance did they have against the sentimental favourite, and forgive my crudeness, but what chance did they have against a dead guy who died in such tragic circumstances?

So for what it’s worth, which is probably not very much, but here it is – Congratulations Heath.
