Is it just me, or has anyone else had the slightly awkward experience of replying "well thanks" when you are at the doctors and they ask you "How are you?"

It's worse when you do it calling into work sick... ;)

Haha. That's great. how do you recover from that in the conversation ... "well actually, I'm not too good ..."
