Did google street view run over a donkey in Botswana?

Here are a few screen grabs of what looks like a donkey that has been run over by Google Street view. Google is claiming that it was just a donkey that fell over, or lay down after the car went by, or was walking backwards, or had been to run over acting school but it looks rather suspicious me thinks.

Especially one as big as a donkey?
There's no way they would have been able to keep driving.
Plus there's no tire-tracks on the donkey.
(Also, can you turn off your CAPTCHA, it makes it real hard to post :( )
Depends how big the car is. if it is a larger 4wd on a back road in botswana, it's possible, but you are probably right.
I have CAPTCHA on, because if I don't I get 10 to 20 spam comments a day. Every time i turn it off they come right back again. I will give it another go and see what happens.

Fair enough reason to leave it on - I just had to try half a dozen times to figure out the word :(
I wish Blogger had a "moderate first post" button. Wordpress has that and it's great - the first time anyone posts, it gets held in moderation, but after that they can post whenever they like.
Yes I hate word verification as well, but I turned it off and within 24 hours I had 13 spam comments. I too wish that blogger had a moderate first post button. It would be excellent.
