Please make up room now!

Here is a sign from a hotel I recently stayed at in America.

I confess that I did want someone to make up my room, but I felt rude for putting this out. The directness and implied timing behind the request just felt a bit over the top. 

Anyone else find the word on this hotel doorknob sign a bit too bossy?
