The Wednesday Word - akimbo
Today’s word is akimbo. It means the position of one’s body
where a hand is on one’s hip with the elbow bend outwards. It is often used in
the plural, where Betty’s arms were akimbo.
Here is my quote for it:
“It was a sight to behold, watching young Jimbo do the limbo
with his arms akimbo.”

Feel free to let me know if you ever come across a word you think may be appropriate for this part of my blog.
